Hardware – Liftmatic

Liftmatic has over a hundred connector styles, welded blades, Plastic ball connectors, steel – die cast connectors and shock absorber style end fittings. You can choose different connectors for each end of your gas spring, damper or shock absorber.

Standard gas springs and dampers can only be purchased with the connectors offered – SEE BELOW.
There are also ball stud and bracket options for the ball style connectors.

Liftmatic also offer a large range of link rod styles that can be mated with most of the connectors we have. There are solid rod and adjustable rod designs offered with screw on, weld on, crimped and heat staked connector attachment options.

Liftmatic also offers mechanical lift mechanisms used mostly on truck hoods. These are often mechanical springs enclosed in tubes with seals to prevent moisture and debris from getting inside the tubes. Some lift mechanisms include damping when closing the hood and locking mechanisms to hold the hood open.

Liftmatic manufactures a wide range of bushings, rubber suspension components and suspension arms; please review the photographs for all the products we currently supply. We will also manufacture new components often without any tooling fees.
